Welcome to Expense Saver by vnlabs. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your financial information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection when you use our application.
Information We Collect
Our fundamental principle is that your financial data is yours completely.
- Data Stored Locally: All your transactions, categories, budgets, and settings are stored entirely locally on your device using a secure local database (Isar).
- No Server Sync: We do NOT collect personal identification information. We do NOT transmit your financial data or usage logs to any external servers managed by us.
Audio & Permissions
The app requests microphone access strictly for the Voice-to-Expense feature. Audio is processed on-device (via system Speech-to-Text services) and is never recorded or stored by VN Labs.
AI Features
When using AI features (like transaction parsing), the app may send typed or transcribed text to Google Gemini AI. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and is used only to process your request.
Security
The app uses Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint/FaceID) to secure your data. This authentication is handled by your device's operating system; we never see or store your biometric data.
Children's Privacy
Expense Saver is general audience software. We do not intentionally gather any private data, and particularly do not intentionally gather information from children under 13.
